The entire team shares with you its best greetings for the new year.
Vespa Capital becomes ARLANE
Following the successful closing of our 3rd fund, Vespa Capital, founded in 2009, has been rebranded as ARLANE.
Our DNA remains unchanged: the independence of our management company and our entrepreneurial spirit remain at the core of our identity.
Closing of ARLANE III (formerly Vespa III) at €120M
We are pleased to announce the successful closing of our third fund, reaching our target of €120M.
ARLANE III welcomes new investors - families, fund-of-funds, and regional banks - alongside our longstanding partners, including entrepreneurs, former portfolio company executives, and the managemen team itselft.
To date, the fund has invested in 3 companies: Sprinter, Imprimerie du Marais, and Eliis, deploying 30% of its capital.
The ARLANE team is fully engaged in sourcing and analyzing new opportunities, actively progressing through the fund’s investment phase with the goal of sustainably enhancing portfolio performance.
Since our inception in 2009, the management team has delivered a strong track record with an annualized IRR of 25%.
The investment strategy of ARLANE III remains consistent with that of Vespa I and Vespa II:
- Regional SMEs with revenues between €10M and €50M,
- Investment tickets ranging from €10M to €20M;
- Majority and primary LBO and OBO transactions;
- Direct engagement with business owners and managers for deals with as limited intermediation as possible.
The ARLANE team is growing with two new hires:
- Sébastien Allégot joins us as Investment Director. With 8 years of experience in Small & Mid Cap M&A, Sébastien is a graduate of ECE and ESCP.
- Tristan Villemin also joins as Investment Director. A graduate of Université Paris Dauphine, Tristan previously worked in Transaction Services and later in the finance team of a corporate group.
We are also delighted to announce the promotion of Fleur Angliviel and Alexis Aubert to the role of Investment Manager.
We look forward to connecting with you again in April for ARLANE’s next newsletter.
